BERRY SHOWGROUND PAVILION
Tina Fox is a textile and digital artist based in Sydney, working with crochet and animation to explore themes of making, technology and tradition. Tina creates crafted and digital hybrids that are rooted in science fiction and technology, seeking a new aesthetic and language for fibre that looks to the future. She was a finalist in the Ravenswood Women’s Art Prize 2022 and has had work included in Vivid Sydney, the Australian Design Centre and the Sydney Museum.
For OpenField, Fox is creating a new work based upon local weavers. Combining video and crochet, this installation includes words and footage of local Berry weavers as they practise their skill.
