OpenField Arts Festival

OpenField is a new and exciting biennial arts festival held in the vibrant town of Berry on the NSW South Coast in June 2025.

The inaugural event was held in June 2023 to great success, and showcased contemporary art in unusual spaces in and around town. We had around 4000 visits to the festival, with strong reviews and positive public opinion. 

We are offering unique opportunities to sponsor us to show your support for the arts and independent events. From talks and performances to live music and art installations, sponsorship can be for a specific project, artist or program, or for the festival as a whole.

Where does my sponsorship money go?

OpenField has achieved charitable status and we are very passionate about making this event accessible for the whole community, as well as attracting visiting audiences from the wider region, Sydney and Canberra. Your sponsorship will help keep OpenField a largely free event for all.  

 With your sponsorship dollars, we can engage and appropriately compensate leading artists for their participation and their projects. We believe artists should be paid for their work and your monetary support will enable us to commission high-calibre new works and make visual art a much-needed part of Berry’s cultural fabric.

Funds will also be used for tech crew, installation and audio/visual equipment to transform the local halls and community spaces into sophisticated exhibition sites.

 A portion of sponsorship will go towards educational engagement through programs for local schools, offering unique opportunities for students to experience cutting-edge contemporary art in their region.

Lastly, your sponsorship enables us to market the festival more widely, ensuring people from the Shoalhaven region and beyond are given the opportunity to visit Berry and join the fun.
