GREER TAYLOR
DAVID BERRY MEMORIAL PARK
Greer’s work is grounded in rethreading our connection to the web of life. Her work spans multiple practices from sculpture to installation to poetry to performance to public engagement; from metal and plastics to string and sticks; from small to large; from permanent to ephemeral works. Her work often explores the intersection of the human-made and nature-made as prototypes for what a beneficial alliance might look like. How must humans be in order to be a contributory species in the web of life?
She has installed many solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous public sculpture exhibitions. Her sculpture has received several award such as: Sculpture at Scenic World, University of Western Sydney Acquisitive Sculpture Award, reIMAGINE Sculpture Prize…Her recent public sculpture phases was installed in the forecourt of the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre in mid 2022.
For OpenField, Greer will be exhibiting large scale outdoor sculptures.
